Thangalaan latest update disappoints fans

The producers of Thangalaan are currently under fire from fans due to the delay in announcing the film’s release date, despite being in the final stages of production. The team recently revealed a new poster showcasing British actor Daniel Caltagirone in honor of his birthday. However, numerous fans continue to express disappointment with the need for more information.

On Tuesday, a new poster of Daniel Caltagirone was unveiled by the creators of Thangalaan in celebration of his birthday. The poster depicted the British actor holding a hunting rifle while standing next to a body of water. Caltagirone is set to portray the antagonist in Thangalaan. Despite the excitement generated by the new poster, many fans are feeling disappointed due to the absence of a confirmed release date. Thangalaan has been in production for a considerable time and was initially slated for a January release this year. However, the release date was postponed by the creators, who have yet to announce a new date. Following the delay of Pushpa: The Rule, which was initially set for an August release, fans have been hoping that Thangalaan will secure the Independence Day weekend slot. The lack of communication from the Thangalaan team has sparked outrage among increasingly impatient internet users.

The film Thangalaan is headlined by Vikram and directed by Pa Ranjith. It features a stellar cast including Parvathy Thiruvottu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, and others. This period action drama delves into the origins of Kolar Gold Fields. Thangalaan is a collaborative effort supported by Jio Studios, Studio Green, and Neelam Productions. The film’s music, composed by GV Prakash Kumar, adds to the grandeur of the movie. Netflix, a leading OTT platform, has acquired the post-theatrical rights to the movie, ensuring a wider reach for the film. Thangalaan is set to be released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The film is co-written by Tamil Praba, with cinematographer Kishor Kumar capturing its visuals and editing by Selva RK.
