Dhanush, the renowned star actor, is not only popular in Tamil and Telugu, but he also has a good following in Hindi audiences. Interestingly, Dhanush did two films in Bollywood, and he worked with Aanand L Rai for both films. The actor-director worked together for the first time with Raanjhana (2013), followed by Atrangi Re (2021), which was released directly on OTT. The third movie in their combo, Tere Ishk Mein, was announced in 2023, exciting the fans with a small video during the announcement that showed Dhanush in an intense avatar.
Recently, Aanand L Rai spoke about the film’s shooting and possible theatrical release date in a media interaction. Rai stated that he will start the film’s shoot by the year end, and it will be ready for the release by the next year end. He also added that his relationship with Dhanush has evolved beautifully over the years. He claimed that by the time they worked on Atrangi Re, they had crossed the professional relationship and developed a bond of brother-younger brother, and it also can be said a relation like father and son. Aanand L Rai said he is really looking forward to working with Dhanush for Tere Ishk Mein, and the shoot will last for 4 or 5 months.
According to Aanand L. Rai, Tere Ishk Mein is a beautiful story to be told, and it has only one similarity with Raanjhana, and it is nothing but love. Both the films’ worlds are full of love, and in TIM, the love will be on a level that has a fiery touch to it. AR Rahman, who composed music for Raanjhana and Atrangi Re, will work for this film as well, while the film’s female lead has not been announced yet.
