TDP demands Governor interference into Naidu’s health condition

Maintaining that former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, is a high-profile politician, TDP politburo member, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, on Saturday demanded the immediate interference of the Governor into Chandrababu’s health condition.

As per the jail manual Chandrababu is a high-profile leader and he should be provided with minimum facilities and medicare, Umamaheswara Rao told media persons here. How Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy could become the advisor to the Government when he is not aware of such basic issues, Bonda Uma asked.

Making it clear that Chandrababu has every right to get basic minimum basic facilities and medicare as he is just under remand, Bonda Uma said that no one has the right, including Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, to deny this to Chandrababu. The Tadepalle palace team knows much better about Chandrababu’s health condition than his wife and daughter-in-law, the TDP politburo member remarked.

In fact, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy know better how to resort to politics and how to hatch conspiracies sitting inside the jail than anyone else, he said. Sajjala should not forget the history of sending an innocent Dalit boy to jail by playing the drama of cock knife (kodi katti), Bonda Uma said in an oblique reference to Jagan.

Chandrababu is not so clever as to kill his own paternal uncle and later make the people believe that the death is due to heart failure, he said. “Our leader is not so talented to throw own sister and mother onto the road after exploiting them to come to power,” Bonda Uma noted.

Both Jagan and Sajjala have the habit of narrating something before the media, change the statements totally before the court and later tell the people a totally different story, he said. The whole State and the entire Telugu community are worried about the deteriorating health condition of Chandrababu and are praying to the Almighty to see to it that he comes out of the jail at the earliest, Uma stated.

The society is simply hating Sajjala for making irrelevant statements on the health condition of a former chief minister, Umamaheswara Rao observed. It is a classic example of the misuse of the system by Jagan and Sajjala as they are coming to know what is happening inside the jail much before the prison authorities know anything, the TDP politburo member said.

As per the provisions of 1037, 385 and 386 of the Jail Manual, the prison authorities should extend certain facilities to those who are under judicial remand and they should be provided with medicare when their health condition is not good, Mr Bonda Umamaheswara Rao said. How can Sajjala talk like that without knowing the basic issues, he asked.

Demanding the immediate interference of the Governor into the deteriorating health condition of Chandrababu, the TDP politburo member made it clear that if anything happens to Chandrababu, the Chief Minister should take the responsibility.
