SWAG: Sree Vishnu’s film looks to be a quirky entertainer

Swag is the title of the upcoming film of Sree Vishnu. The film marks the reunion of actor with director Hasith Goli after Raja Raja Chora. Swag is all set to be released in theaters on October 4, this Friday, and the makers released the film’s trailer this morning. Earlier, the multiple teasers/promos of the film attracted audiences, and now the trailer takes the effect to the next level with its interesting nature.

The film talks about gender politics and issues with shifting multiple timelines. Swag’s trailer starts with showing the king of Swaganika Vamsham in 1551 and him wanting to establish male dominance. The trailer also shows another three characters played by Sree Vishnu: one is Yayathi (1970), who struggles to have a son despite multiple attempts; the other is SI Bhavabhuthi, who resembles the character of Swaganika King; and the third character name is Singa, who is also the descendant of the Swaganika lineage. It is very clear from the trailer that the film is made with a complex story, but the director has dealt with it in an entertaining and linear manner. Sree Vishnu is impressive and showed glimpses of his variations according to the characters.

Ritu Varma seems to have a good, competitive character along with Sree Vishnu, while Meera Jasmine and Daksha Nagarkar also look to have played crucial parts in this quirky entertainer. Vivek Sagar has scored the film’s music, and TG Viswa Prasad backed this film under the banner of People Media Factory.
