Shah Rukh Khan, the renowned Bollywood actor, is preparing to grace the silver screen alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan, in her inaugural film titled “The King.” This action-packed thriller will be her introduction to the industry, as it will be her first official theatrical release. Notably, sources have revealed that Shah Rukh Khan will not merely make a brief appearance but will assume a substantial role in this project.
Earlier reports indicated that the King of Romance would have a limited appearance. However, recent updates reveal that the script has been revised to showcase him in a prominent role alongside Suhana, whom he will mentor in the movie. This exciting development will allow fans to witness the father-daughter duo’s captivating chemistry on the screen for the very first time. The King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, who is renowned for his work in Kahaani, is expected to be a thrilling action film with global ambitions. It is estimated to require a budget of approximately ₹200 crores. While specific details about the characters are being kept secret, rumors suggest that Shah Rukh Khan is investing this substantial budget to ensure that his daughter’s debut becomes a highly talked-about movie nationwide.
The movie is currently in pre-production and will be released in the second half of 2025. An acclaimed action crew has been enlisted, and filming is set to commence in May.
