The horror comedy Stree 2 is on the verge of creating history at the Bollywood Box Office. Released on August 15, 2024, this film surprised and stunned everyone with its incredible run at the box office. Being a sequel and having a good album and trailer, the trade expected the film to collect good numbers at the box office. However, Stree 2 surpassed all expectations on the first day by crossing the 50 cr mark on the day alone, and then on it kept collecting record numbers at the box office.
A few days ago, when Stree 2 crossed the 550 crore mark at the domestic box office, everyone expected it to slow down, but the film refused to slow down and went on to gather decent numbers. On its 33rd day, Stree 2 collected 3.3 crore net in India, taking the overall total at the domestic box office to 583.3 crore. Stree 2 will cross Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s Jawan today, which presently stands as the All-Time Blockbuster for Bollywood collecting 584 crore net in India. The target for Stree 2 is crossing the 600 crore mark.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Star 2 has been directed by Amar Kaushik. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor enthralled audiences with their amazing chemistry and entertaining performances, while Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi also supported them with their valuable performances. Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in cameos.
