The phenomenal run of Stree 2, the horror comedy, is still continuing at the box office. Even after completing a month at the theaters, the film is still able to bring audiences to the theaters. The film has recently crossed the magical 550 crore mark, and now it is getting closer to the coveted figure of 600 crore at the domestic box office. The box office performance of Stree 2 has been a sweet shock for Bollywood.
On its 31st day, Stree 2 collected 5.5 crore net in India, and the total number for 31 days will be over 573 crore. The film is eyeing crossing the 600 crore mark, and if it manages to achieve that, it will be the first Bollywood film to cross the landmark. Now, it will be interesting to see how Stree 2 will continue its theatrical run. The trade experts are confident that it will collect good numbers here afterward, and it can also use the advertisement of National Cinema Day, which falls on September 20th.
The makers of Stree 2 had recently announced the BOGO offer (Buy One, Get One), which has helped the film to bring more footfalls on the weekend. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Star 2 has been directed by Amar Kaushik. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor as the lead characters, Stree 2 also has Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi in supporting parts. Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in cameos.
