Stree 2, the horror comedy blockbuster, has completed five weeks at the theaters. The film has produced unexpected and stunning records at the box office, and it had an amazing run at the theaters till now. The film had a good pre-release buzz, and it received positive reviews upon its theatrical release on August 15, 2024. With the help of season and positive talk, Stree 2 became a massive blockbuster at the box office.
Stree 2 recently crossed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan at the domestic box office and became the new all-time biggest blockbuster of Bollywood. On Wednesday (September 18), the film gathered 2 crore net in India. For 5 weeks, Stree 2 has collected 588 crore net and around 694 gross in India. The film will comfortably cross the coveted 600 crore mark in the next week and will become the first ever Hindi film to achieve that record.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 has Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, who played the same parts in the first part as well. The pair of Shraddha and Rajkummar enthralled audiences with their matchless chemistry, and their performance in hilarious episodes was also appreciated. Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakthi Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi also supported the lead pair with their natural acting, while Sachin-JJigar’s music was a super hit with songs like Tumhare Hai and Aaj Ki Raat topping the charts of music listeners.
