Stree 2 is continuing its good run at the box office, and it has crossed the Baahubali 2 (Hindi version) collections. It is a remarkable thing as this horror comedy has crossed the lifetime domestic collections of Baahubali 2. Though Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s starrer faced a slight dip in its collections from the previous day, it was still able to amass a decent number.
Stree 2 has collected 289 crores net in India in its first week and 155 crores net in its second week. The film also had a good second weekend, and on its 20th day, it gathered a healthy total of 5.5 crores net. So for 20 days, Stree 2 has collected 515 crores net at the domestic box office. Baahubali Hindi Version’s final total at the box office was 511 crores net. The trade experts are confident that Stree 2 will benefit from the absence of new releases this weekend, and it also has the added advantage of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival on Saturday, September 7.
Stree 2, the film starts exactly where the first part ended. The residents of Chanderi now seek protection from Stree. However, there’s a new menace in the area, Sarkata, who abducts women who don’t adhere to traditional household chores and think modernly. The film’s protagonist, Vicky, his mysterious girlfriend, and friends aim to end the mayhem of Sarkata.
