Stree 2 is continuing its dream run at the box office. Released on August 15th, this horror comedy is exceptionally performing at the box office, and it has dominated the other releases, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa with a massive margin. Stree 2 has crossed 400 Crores net at the domestic box office in 11 days.
On its 11th day, Stree 2 collected 40.5 Crore net in India. For 11 days, Stree 2 had raised a whopping 401.5 Crores net and nearly 474 Crores Gross in India. Trade circles expect the film to take advantage of the Semi Holiday (Janmashtami) today. Stree 2 is the sequel of Stree which was released in 2018. The Maddock Films production house has started a horror comedy universe with Stree, followed by Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, Abhay Verma and Sharvari’s Munjya and now Stree 2.
Varun Dhawan made a special appearance in Stree 2 as Bhediya in the film’s climax while Akshay Kumar appeared in a guest role with a hint of his character becoming the big villain in the universe of Maddock in the coming days. Stree 2 tells the story of people from Chanderi, who face the curse of Sarkata who killed Stree and was beheaded by Stree’s ghost.
