Stree 2, the latest horror comedy, is creating records at the box office every day. The film had a positive pre-release buzz because of the sequel factor and excellent audio. The buzz turned into positive talk when the film made its theatrical debut.
Collecting 20 crores or more on a weekday, that too on a Wednesday, is a rarity and Stree 2 has collected. The trade circles and industry insiders are shocked by such an outstanding box office performance of Stree 2. Stree 2 has raised a whopping collection of 289 Crores net and 341 Crores Gross in India in it’s first week. The film, certainly will collect solid numbers over the second weekend.
Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi in crucial roles, Stree 2 was released in theaters worldwide on August 15th. The film also had paid premiers on August 14th night and received a superb response. Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik and it is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the Maddock Films banner.
