Stree 2 is continuing its excellent run at the box office. The horror comedy is made as the sequel for 2018 film Stree. Right from the release of the film’s teaser, audiences were keen to watch the film. The theatrical trailer and songs raised the anticipation, which resulted in a terrific opening for the film.
Along with the Paid Premiers on. August 14th, Stree 2 collected a whopping 65 Crore net on day 1 and continued the momentum from then on. Stree 2 gathered 18 Crores net on its eighth day and 20 Crores net on its ninth day. The numbers of the film saw a big jump on the Saturday as Stree 2 amassed 34 Crores. For 10 days, Stree 2 collected 361 Crores net and 426 Crores Gross in India. According to the calculations of Trade Circles, the film can beat Jawan and become the all-time highest grosser for Bollywood in its full run.
Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi in crucial roles, Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik. The film’s story shows the fight of People of Chanderi who face a dangerous threat in the form of Sarkata, a headless demon.
