Exciting new titles from Amazon Prime Video have mesmerized the audiences! The much-awaited film Ikkis by filmmaker Sriram Raghavan has made headlines since its announcement. Featuring Agastya Nanda in the main role, the teaser for this biopic is expected to be unveiled shortly. The latest update reveals that the movie will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video following its theatrical release.
Amazon Prime Video recently unveiled an exciting roster of projects on Tuesday. Among the notable additions to their lineup are blockbuster films such as Stree 2, Housefull 5, Ikkis, and Chandu Champion, all of which will now call Prime Video their home in the world of OTT streaming. These highly anticipated movies will premiere on the platform following their theatrical releases. One of the upcoming films, Ikkis, produced by Maddock Films, features Agastya Nanda in the lead role as Arun Khetarpal PVC, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra and a highly decorated hero of the 1971 War. Accompanying him is the legendary actor Dharmendra, who plays a significant role in the film. During the event, Agastya thanked director Sriram Raghavan for the chance provided. Varun Dhawan, who was initially supposed to be part of the Ikkis team, also appeared on stage during the announcement. Agastya, who first appeared in Zoya Akhtar’s Archies, is now gearing up for his second movie, Ikkis. The emerging actor caught everyone’s attention when he took over Varun Dhawan’s role. Director Sriram Raghavan mentioned during the event that Agastya has undergone a physical transformation to fit the character better. “I am thankful for this chance, and I am under the guidance of Sriram sir,” Agastya expressed during the event.
Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films have collaborated to produce Ikkis, a film centered around the remarkable life of Arun Khetrapal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra and a distinguished hero of the 1971 War. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, known for Merry Christmas and Andhadun, Ikkis features Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat in key roles.
