Several weeks prior, an official announcement was made regarding the collaboration between Tamil Star actor Ajith Kumar and Adhik Ravichandran for a film called Good Bad Ugly. Recent reports indicate that a renowned artist from Telugu cinema has been selected to portray the female lead role. According to speculations, the filmmakers are considering casting the latest sensational heroine, Sreeleela.
Sreeleela, a renowned Telugu cinema actress, has appeared in several prominent films. Recently, she shared the screen with Mahesh Babu in the movie Guntur Kaaram. There are now speculations that Sreeleela will make her Tamil debut as the female lead in Good Bad Ugly. It is worth noting that Good Bad Ugly is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, a Telugu production house, which suggests the possibility of them wanting to include Telugu artists in the cast. However, an official announcement regarding Sreeleela’s casting is yet to be made. Rumors also suggest that Ajith will portray three different roles in the film, aligning with the title. The last time Ajith played triple roles was in the 2006 movie Varalaaru. It is also expected that actors Simran and Meena, who have previously worked with Ajith in multiple films, will join the cast of Good Bad Ugly.
The upcoming film is scheduled to commence production in June and is aiming for a release during the Pongal festival in January 2025. The music for the film, titled Good Bad Ugly, will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Abinandhan Ramanujam has been appointed cinematographer, while Vijay Velukutty will edit. Additionally, reports indicate that the filmmakers are making efforts to make the movie appeal to a pan-Indian audience by involving artists from various industries. Hindi actors Bobby Deol and John Abraham are considered to play the character of the primary antagonist. Meanwhile, Ajith is currently occupied with his work on the film Vidaa Muyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni. It is worth mentioning that Magizh Thirumeni is also the film director above.
