Rohit Shetty—Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again is one of the most anticipated films from Bollywood this year. The film is a third part of the Singham franchise, and it has a huge ensemble cast. Recently, there was a set of rumors that the film has been postponed from Diwali and will be released on a new date. However, the closed sources of the film’s team stated that the news is false and the big action film will indeed get released for Diwali as per plan. Rohit Shetty took to his Instagram and confirmed that there will be no change in the film’s release date.
Starring Ajay Devgn in the iconic role, Singham Again will have a clash at the theaters with Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. As said above, Rohit Shetty shared a video on his Instagram in which he confirmed that the third film in his Singham franchise will be out on Diwali. He shared a video that did not feature Ajay Devgn but another important character from the film, and it showed a Scorpio Car toppling and tumbling. Shetty also added that the Singham would be incomplete without this hero. Now the netizens are spinning theories about the unknown star who featured in the video. Interestingly, Rohit used the Bujji theme from Kalki 2898 AD as the background for his video. So the netizens and fans speculated that Prabhas is the one who featured in the video. So, as of now, the Bollywood and Telugu film industry fans are excited about this news, but we have to wait for an official confirmation from the makers of the Singham franchise. Singham Again was rumored to be released on August 15, 2024, but Ajay Devgn made it clear at a public event that time that there is much shooting to be completed and the team has not decided on a release date. After a few days, the makers decided to release the film as a Diwali special.
Singham Again consists of an ensemble cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff. Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor (main villain role), and Tiger Shroff are the new additions to the film. Akshay will appear as Sooryavanshi, and Ranveer Singh will appear as Simmba. Kareena, who first appeared in Singham Returns, will be making a re-entry to the franchise. Jackie Shroff, who was the main antagonist in Sooryavanshi, is also present in the cast of the film.
