Shaitaan Movie’s 3 Weeks Collections are out. This supernatural thriller still maintains a good hold at the box office and is gathering decent numbers. Though there were many releases after Shaitaan, moviegoers still flock to the theaters to watch it. The film is having a good long run at the box office and is near the 200 Crore Gross landmark worldwide.
According to trade experts, the film ‘Shaitaan’ has gathered Rs 1.60 crore on Thursday. After 21 days, the movie has accumulated a total collection of Rs 138 crores net at the domestic box office. It remains to be seen if ‘Shaitaan’ will be able to surpass the Rs 150 crore mark in India by the end of its theatrical run. Directed by Vikas Bahl, ‘Shaitaan’ is a remake of the Gujarati film ‘Vash’ and tells the story of Ajay and Jyothika, a couple whose daughter Janki Bodiwala is hypnotized by R Madhavan, who portrays the antagonist. For 21 Days, Shaitaan has collected 138 Crores Net and 163 Crores Gross in India. The worldwide Gross of the film stands at 198 Crores.
After Shaitaan’s triumph, there is a lot of excitement surrounding its sequel. Sources indicate that the producers will be making an official declaration about the second installment shortly, and the cast is currently being confirmed. According to reports, the sequel will showcase another story revolving around black magic and will carry on with the horror theme. Shaitaan is dominating the box office. The film Crew, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, will be released this Friday, March 29th. Observing if Shaitaan will challenge Rajesh A Krishnan’s directorial work will be intriguing.
