Saripodhaa Sanivaaram to make its OTT debut on this date

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, the latest action drama starring Natural Star Nani in the lead role, is all set to arrive on OTT. The film was released in theaters worldwide on August 29, 2024, amidst decent hype, and the film received decent responses from audiences and critics as well. The latest reports suggest that the film will make its digital debut next week, and an official announcement was made in this regard on Saturday evening.

The film was directed by Vivek Athreya, who also made Ante Sundaraniki with Nani. Though the film was a dud at the box office, it grew a cult fan base over the years, and even today some netizens post their favorite scene from the film and praise it. Ante was a comedy drama, and Vivek Athreya changed the genre with Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, and he took action with this film. His attempt was praised by many, while a section of audiences still feel that he needs to get better with handling the commercial elements and pacing issues. It is already known that the OTT giant Netflix has bagged the digital rights of the film, and on the evening of September 21, the streaming platform made an announcement that Saripodhaa Sanivaaram will be available for streaming in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages from September 26th.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had the well-known actor SJ Suryah in the antagonist role, while Priyanka Arul Mohan played the love interest of the lead character. Sai KUmar, Bhirami, Aditi Balan, Harshavardhan, and others played the supporting roles while Jakes Bejoy scored the music for the film. The film tells us the story of a young man named Surya, who makes a promise to his mother that he will unleash his anger on Saturday and will remain calm on the other days of the week. His life gets turned as he is pitted against a ruthless cop named Daya, who tortures the locals of a village named Sokulapalem.
