The film’s first look, posters, and trailer were received well, and everyone expected it to be a game changer in Nani’s career. The film was released in theaters worldwide on August 29th, and it opened to decent reviews from audiences and critics.
The unexpected and huge rainfall in Telugu States since the last three days had a slight effect on the collections of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. The trade experts felt that it could have added more numbers if not for the severe rainfall in some regions. However, the film is performing very well in the Telugu States, along with the rest of India and overseas. For 4 days, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has collected around 60 crore gross at the worldwide box office. If the fil continues to maintain the momentum, it can easily enter the 100 Cr club.
Directed by Vivek Athreya, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram also stars SJ Suryah as the antagonist, while Priyanka Arul Mohan and Sai Kumar played crucial characters. The film tells the story of a man named Surya, who cannot control his anger if anything wrong happens in front of him. However, his mother makes him take an oath that he will show his anger only on Saturday. What happens when Surya meets Daya, a ruthless Circle Inspector who shows his anger on the people of Sokulapalem and treats them like his slaves, is the rest of the story.
