Saripodha Sanivaaram, Nani’s upcoming film, is all set to be released in theaters worldwide on August 29th. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Post COVID, the language barriers in the Indian Film Industry have been loosened, and we can release any film in any language. The Telugu Film Industry has reached wider audiences since the massive success of the Baahubali Series.
However, there is one market which has not been breached by our films. Apart from the Baahubali Series, films like Pushpa Part 1, RRR, Kalki 2898 AD have collected superb numbers at the box office. Even non-star films like Karthikeya 2 and Hanuman saw good numbers at the Hindi Market. Nani promotes every film, but he always tries as near as possible to the Tamil audiences. Nani’s last two theatrical releases, Dasara and Hi Nanna did not take many collections from Tamil Nadu, but they received rave reviews upon their OTT release along with a healthy reach in Hindi audiences.
Now even for Saripodha Sanivaaram, Nani is trying his best to promote the film in Tamil. The film can get benefited from the fact that SJ Suryah, the popular actor from Tamil Cinema, is playing the villain character in the film. Let us wait and see whether Nani’s efforts pay off for Saripodha Sanivaaram in the Tamil region. Apart from Telugu, the film has been titled as Surya’s Saturday in other languages.
