Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B removed from Prime Video

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B, the second part of the gripping romantic tale helmed by Hemanth M Rao and starring Rakshit Shetty, was released on OTT on January 25, two months after its theatrical debut. Rakshit, the film’s producer, released it on Amazon Prime Video. The same platform features the initial installment, Side A, although specifics of the agreement were kept a secret. However, the OTT viewers were shocked when the film was removed from Prime Video.

Starting this week, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B is no longer available on the platform. Despite inquiries, both the team and the streamer have not provided any responses. When Side B was first released in theaters, it did not have an OTT partner, but it was anticipated that Prime Video would acquire it since Side A was already there. Rakshit, who previously had an agreement with the streamer for his film 777 Charlie to be available in languages other than Kannada, seems to have decided on a temporary deal and is now transferring it to a different platform. Zee Network currently holds the satellite rights for both Side A and Side B of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello. It is anticipated that Side B will be available on Zee5 in the near future, although an official confirmation is still pending. Interestingly, Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah, not Rakshit, was responsible for the OTT deal with Prime Video for Side A.

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello was initially intended to be produced by Pushkar, who later transferred the project to Rakshit. However, Pushkar had already sold the OTT rights to Amazon Prime Video, believing it would be a single film. Consequently, Side A was acquired by the streaming platform, leaving Rakshit with the option to sell the rights of Side B. Some netizens think that Rakshit might have got a lucrative offer from other streaming platforms for the rights of SSE Side B.
