If the inside reports are to be believed, it is anticipated to be yet another Clash of the Titans at Sankranthi 2025 among the prominent stars of Tollywood. Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are reportedly set to confront each other once again during the Sankranthi season. These two giants have previously clashed twice during the Sankranthi season. These two have clashed at the Sankranthi Box Office many times, and the recent clash occurred in 2017 when Chiranjeevi’s comeback film, Khaidi No 150, went head-to-head with Balakrishna’s Gouthamiputra Satakarni. The second most recent clash occurred in 2023 when Chiru’s Waltair Veerayya collided with Balayya’s Veera Simha Reddy.
Interestingly, all of these films turned out to be hits. However, Chiranjeevi had the upper hand, with both Khaidi No 150 and Waltair Veerayya becoming massive blockbusters. Their upcoming films, Vishwasmbhara, and the untitled Balayya-Bobby film, might clash again during the Sankranthi season. Vishwambhara will be a grand socio-fantasy film, while the Balayya-Bobby film will be a complete mass entertainer.
Chiranjeevi could once again have an advantage with the grand scale of Vishwambhara, while Balayya’s collaboration with Bobby is expected to be a commercial success. Because of the genre, Vishwambhara may aim for over-big numbers at the box office. At the same time, Balayya’s film will also be a perfect mass entertainer during the festival. Regardless, both actors are likely to satisfy their fans, and we eagerly await official confirmation from their respective teams.
