Salaar’s Screening Compromised Amidst Sankranti Releases

In a surprising turn of events, the much-anticipated screening of Prabhas’s Salaar at the iconic Sandhya 70mm theatre in RTC X Roads, Hyderabad, had to make significant compromises due to the competitive Sankranti releases. Initially, Salaar was slated to be screened alongside other festive releases, promising an enthralling cinematic experience for fans.

The distribution rights for Salaar and Hanuman Nizam were secured by the same distributor, with an agreement in place that Hanuman would have a single show, leaving the remaining slots for Salaar’s screening. However, the situation took an unexpected twist when Guntur Kaaram was added to the lineup for Day 1, creating a ripple effect that influenced the screening schedule.

As Guntur Kaaram claimed its spot on Day 1, reports suggest that the decision somehow influenced the distributors, leading them to reconsider the initial plan. Consequently, with Guntur Kaaram scheduled alongside one show for Hanuman, the distributors deemed it impractical to continue screening Salaar. As a result, the complex decided to dedicate all its shows to Hanuman from Day 2 onwards, altering the course of Salaar’s cinematic journey.
