Salaar Sequel’s Budget to be Under Control

The first installment of Salaar was a tremendous success at the box office, and now all attention is directed towards the upcoming second part featuring Prabhas. According to a team member, the shooting for the sequel is scheduled to commence in the second week of June 2024. Prabhas is expected to complete the promotional activities for Kalki 2898 AD by that time and has dedicated a significant amount of time to filming Salaar 2. It has been revealed that the movie’s production will be concluded within four months, and the filmmakers have set their sights on releasing the film in April 2025, actively working towards achieving this goal.

Recently, there were speculations that Prabhas had decided to prioritize Salaar 2 over his film Raja Saab with Maruthi. As a result, preparations are being made for a start-to-finish shoot for Prabhas. According to our sources, director Prashanth Neel intends to complete the sequel for less than Rs 150 crore. It has been revealed that the sequel will feature a romantic storyline between Prabhas and Shruthi Haasan, and the production team will be filming a dreamy romantic song shortly.

Prithviraj Sukumaran portrays the second lead role in this movie, which turns negative to Prabhas alongside Jagapathi Babu in a significant role. Ravi Basrur is the music director for this film, produced by Hombale Films, with great prestige. Following the success of Salaar 1, they are sparing no effort for the second installment. Prabhas is set to showcase intense action scenes in the sequel, reportedly performing all stunts himself after using body doubles in the first part due to a knee injury that kept him out of action for six months. The pre-production work is progressing rapidly, and filming will commence soon. Fans eagerly anticipate the collaboration between Prabhas and Prashanth Neel in this upcoming project.
