Saindhav Movie Review

“Stylish Action with Emotional Damage”

It’s essentially a stylish action thriller with no typical back-end story that elevated the protagonist’s characterization throughout the film. Despite appreciating the efforts, the lack of a strong connection to the elevations failed to make a mark, even though it was shot well on screen. The film’s main backdrop revolves around family connections, yet Sailesh Kolenu fails to establish a connection between father and daughter. While the daughter’s health condition intertwining with stylish action makes sense, the lack of emotional support diminishes the enjoyment of the action.

Director Sailesh Kolenu effectively showcases Venkatesh as Saiko, but struggles in utilizing him for sentimental scenes, where he usually excels.

What stands out the most is the villainism of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Andrea Jeremiah, The villainous lovebirds have impressed throughout the film as their characterisations were well projected by the director. In fact these two dominate the latter half of the film and it indeed helps the protagonist to look better as they take on these two baddies. Actor Aarya also grabs a noteworthy supporting role.

Shraddha Srinath, Baby Sara, Ruhani Sharma, though having significant roles with emotional depth, fail to create a substantial impact on screen. The potential return of ‘Saiko’ could engage action movie enthusiasts if taken seriously, but the film’s success depends on the audience’s judgment.

Overall Verdict: If you seek pure action, this film delivers. However, if you desire a deeper connection, you might be disappointed.

Note:* It’s a personal opinion. It will not be based on it’s film run or the talk on the other side.
