There are new rumors suggesting that the renowned actress Sai Pallavi has left the much-awaited project, Ramayan, because of the delay in the film’s commencement. It is widely known that the Fida actress had made a commitment to the Ramayana project. In the movie, Ranbir Kapoor takes on the role of Lord Ram under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. As a great admirer of Sai Pallavi’s talent, the director chose her to portray the character of Sita.
However, according to recent updates, Sai Pallavi has chosen not to be a part of this film because of its extensive delay. The reports suggest that she is keen on exploring other movie opportunities. However, these are all rumors, and there is no official confirmation. As of now, she has not been associated with any noteworthy films except for “Thandel.”
The rumors around the casting of Ramayan have included great names. Reportedly, Sunny Deol will portray Hanuman in the film, while Vijay Sethupathi will take on the role of Vibheeshana and Lara Dutta will play Kaikeyi. Unfortunately, Bobby Deol has declined the opportunity to portray Kumbhakaran. Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra are producing the film, and it is planned to be released during Diwali in 2025. While there hasn’t been an official announcement regarding the project and its main cast, pre-production is reportedly underway.
Ramayan will be made in three parts. In the initial segment of the film, a substantial portion will be dedicated to Lord Ram and Sita, whereas the characters of Ravana and Lord Hanuman will be introduced through specific scenes. However, as the story progresses into Part 2 and Part 3, their roles will become increasingly prominent.
