Ruslaan is an action entertainer starring Aayush Sharma in the lead role. The film was released this summer but failed to entertain audiences and was a big failure at the box office. Usually, Bollywood films make their OTT debut after 8 weeks of theatrical release. However, Ruslaan could not finish the OTT deal because of the disastrous result at the box office. Now, after five months of its theatrical release, Ruslaan is finally making its OTT debut.
Ruslaan will be available for streaming on Jio Cinema starting September 21, 2024. The platform took to their social media accounts and announced the news, sharing a small video from the film. It also added that the film will give the viewers an edge of seat kind of experience. Ruslaan was released in theaters on April 26, 2024. The reviewers and audiences gave mixed reviews for the film, and that eventually led to a weak performance at the theaters.
Directed by Karan Lalit Butani, Ruslaan has Aayush Sharma in the lead role while Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malvade in other crucial roles. Aayush made his Bollywood debut with Lovyatri (2018), produced by Salman Khan, who is the brother of his wife. Salman also acted in a crucial role in Aayush Sharma’s second film, Antim: The Final Truth (2021). Sadly, Antim also turned out to be a failure at the box office.
