Rishabh Pant’s highly anticipated return to competitive cricket during IPL 2024 is nearing, promising a thrilling comeback story. Reflecting on England’s approach to Test cricket under Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum, Pant suggested that India’s focus remains on playing to their strengths rather than getting caught up in the opposing team’s strategies. He offered insights into batting techniques for playing in Australia, emphasizing the importance of cutting the ball rather than punching it, particularly due to the nature of pitches in the country.
As England prepares for their Ashes campaign Down Under, Pant advised them to incorporate more pace in their bowling attack, citing the success of teams like India and the West Indies who have won series in Australia on the back of strong fast-bowling performances.
