This December and January are set to be a festive time for moviegoers, with several projects eyeing releases during these months to capitalize on the Christmas, New Year, and Sankranti celebrations. Reports indicate that many filmmakers are wrapping up their projects to be ready for these key dates.
Despite the clarification of release dates for certain projects like Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule and Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara, there remains a chance of uncertainty regarding release schedules. This will largely depend on the producers and the OTT deals, which are crucial for pre-release business strategies. If everything aligns correctly, the filmmakers will proceed with their planned releases.
In addition to Pushpa 2 and Vishwambhara, other films in this uncertain mix include Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel, and Nithiin’s upcoming projects Thammudu and Robinhood, as well as a sequel to the silent hit Mad. The list also features Balakrishna’s 109th film and Venkatesh’s project with Anil Ravipudi. Recently, Sundeep Kishan’s film with Trinadha Rao Nakkina has also joined this lineup. Currently, all these films are being shot at a rapid pace to ensure they are ready for the December and January slots.
