Re-Releases has become a latest trend in Telugu Film Industry with multiple old films has brought joy to the audience with their nostalgic memories witnessing it again on big screen.
Initially their excitement to watch their favourite actors, actresses in vintage looks has brought interest and some parties have also made this craze to cash in by venturing into business by bringing out the old prints to the screens by remastering them.
However from past couple of months the craze was slightly went down as many feel that too many of re-releases has spoiled the interest and some section of the people suggest that make it release only when there is an occasion such as of hero’s birthdays. In the name of business, Some of them released the flop films as well which created only frustration the fans.
Despite of all this, Fans are eagerly waiting for one re-release that’s been doing rounds ever since its release announcement that is Ravi Teja’s Venky.
Directed by Sreenu Vaitla and Sneha as female lead the film promises proper entertainment throughout the film and especially Brahmanandam’s role of Gajala and his combination scenes with Ravi Teja and his gang.
The iconic train comedy scenes played a crucial role to the film success in 2004. Even now in 2023, Venky comedy scenes are used to make memes and viral videos by using the footage of the film to the current trending topics.
Venky is re-releasing on 30th December 2023 as it serves the nostalgic entertainment package to the year end the audience and fans are eagerly waiting to witness it.
Adding to this, Rajnikanth and Shreya Starrer Sivaji The Boss, A Block Buster film of 2007 director by star shankar shanmugan is going to face-off with Ravi Teja’s Venky.
Sivaji was supposed to re-release on December 12th 2023 on the occasion of Rajinikanth birthday however it got postponed for unknown reasons and the film is now clashing with Ravi Teja’s Venky.
Sivaji also has its own fan base, Finally this year is ending with couple of re-releases which brought attention to the viewers in the whole 2023.
