Rashmika replaces Samantha in the Horror-Comedy Franchise

If the latest reports are to be believed, the national crush, Rashmika Mandanna, has replaced Samantha in an upcoming Bollywood Film. After the triumphs of ‘Stree’ and ‘Munjya,’ the horror-comedy realm was set to be broadened with ‘Vampires of Vijay Nagar,’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. Initially, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was cast in the movie, but Rashmika has now replaced her due to Samantha’s health concerns, resulting in considerable setbacks in the film’s production timeline.

Rashmika is currently occupied with multiple projects such as Chaava, Pushpa 2, and Sikandar, causing her schedule to be open only post-November. Initially scheduled for February 14, 2025, the production commencement of ‘Vampires of Vijay Nagar’ was rescheduled to November of this year, resulting in a release date set for the final quarter of 2025. Just to let you know, an official statement is anticipated following the release of ‘Stree 2’ in cinemas.

Aditya Sarpotdar, renowned for the unexpected success of ‘Munjya,’ helms this movie, which marks the eighth chapter in the Maddock Supernatural Universe.
