Aha, the Telugu OTT platform is buying many movies and shows, making sure its library is filled with good content. Also, the platform is trying to gather as much Tamil content as possible in recent days. Rangoli, a 2023 released Tamil film, is now arriving on this platform in Telugu. Aha Video has bagged the digital rights of the film for a relatively low price, according to the reports.
Interestingly, Aha has named the Telugu version of Rangoli as Satya. The film will be made available for streaming on September 7, 2024. Written and directed by Vaali Mohan Das, Satya (Rangoli) stars Hamaresh, Aadukalam Murugadoss, and Prarthana in the lead roles, and the film was produced by K Babu Reddy and G Satish Kumar under the Gopuram Studios banner.
Rangoli was released in theaters on September 1, 2023, and it became a failure at the box office. The Tamil version is already available on Prime Video, and the Telugu version is making its OTT debut after one year from the theatrical release. Sundaramurthy KS composed the music for the film, and Maruthanayagam has cranked the camera work. The family drama has received more positive reviews after its digital release, and the viewers praised a few emotional scenes in the film.
