Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama will be released in theaters on this date

The much anticipated animation film, Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, is all set to be released in theaters worldwide this October. Geek Pictures, the production house behind this ambitious movie, released the film’s poster and trailer on Thursday (September 19th), and the response has been superb. V Vijayandra Prasad, the renowned writer of Indian cinema known for his works like Baahubali Series and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and RRR have worked for this film.

There is no need to specially mention that the film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is based on the life of Lord Rama. The trailer shows three queens giving birth to four princes, and they are trained from childhood in all kinds of studies, art forms, and fighting techniques. They are all the successors of King Dasaratha, who rules the ancient Indian city of Ayodhya, the royal residence of the Kosala Kingdom. Prince Rama faces a banishment of fourteen years from his beloved father because of an unexpected incident, and he takes his wife Sita along with him to forests. The demon King Ravana abducts Sita in the absence of Rama.

Arjun Aggarwal, the co-founder of Geek Pictures, said that he believes the refreshing and intriguing take on the story of Lord Ram will impress audiences. Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama will be released in theaters on October 18, 2024. Nikhil Kapoor, Easo Vivin Mathew, Amrish Puri, Catherine Battistone, Eddie Frierson, Raj Joshi, Tony Pole, Pradeep Shukla, and Rahul Bose have lent their voices for the characters in this animation film.
