Other characters are also featured in the trailer, with Keerthy Suresh taking a prominent role. However, the film’s central conflict remains undisclosed, while it also seems to touch upon themes related to the anti-Hindi movement. Keerthy Suresh, who was last seen on screen in Siren, is set to star in Raghu Thatha. The movie also includes MS Bhaskar, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshni, Jayakumar, Rajeev Ravindranathan, Anandsami, Rajesh Balachandran, Ismath Banu, Aadhira Pandilakshmi, Janaki, and Chu Khoy Sheng. KS Mippu, Mukesh, and Manoj Kumar Kalaivanan will also be part of the cast.
Hombale Films, the production company responsible for the film franchise KGF and Salaar, is producing Raghu Thatha. This upcoming film will serve as their first venture into Tamil film production. Writer Suman Kumar will be making his directorial debut with Raghu Thatha. The film’s cinematography was done by Yamini Yagnamurthy, who previously worked with Keerthy in Saani Kaayidham. The music for Raghu Thatha was composed by Sean Roldan, and TS Suresh handled the editing. ZEE5 has secured the movie’s post-theatrical streaming rights.
