The recently released Malayalam movie Premalu unexpectedly became a massive hit at the box office. This fun-filled entertainer based in Hyderabad received great reviews on its first day and turned out to be a gigantic success. Due to its popularity, it also managed to captivate viewers from other languages. The official OTT streaming date for Premalu was revealed recently, and the Telugu version’s digital partner has made an announcement.
The Premalu Movie’s Telugu Version will stream on Aha Video from 12th April. However, its versions of Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi will stream on Disney+Hotstar on 12th April. The Telugu Version will not stream on Hotstar. The audiences have enjoyed this film on big screens and are waiting to watch it on digital screens.
The movie has achieved the fourth highest box office collection in its language, following the success of “Manjummel Boys,” “2018,” and “Lucifer.” Due to its popularity in Malayalam, it was also released in Telugu. The film received positive reviews in both languages and became the highest-grossing Telugu-dubbed Malayalam film. Despite facing competition from Telugu releases like “Bhima” and “Gaami,” the film managed to hold its ground. The distribution of “Premalu” was handled by SS Karthikeya, the son of renowned Telugu Director S.S. Rajamouli. It has earned over 15 crores in Telugu languages worldwide, contributing to a total gross of 134 crores.
