Poor Bookings in UAE for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

The advance booking for Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, is now available in the UAE. The movie is scheduled to release on April 10th, while Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan has already been released. Initial reviews of Maidaan were positive, with the audience enjoying the film. However, there appears to be a difference in opinion regarding Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film’s advance ticket sales have significantly decreased on the second day of its release in the UAE.

On April 10, 502 tickets were purchased in the UAE. The gross revenue for that day amounted to USD 8.03k, equivalent to around INR 6.67 lacs. Despite a strong opening, the film did not perform as well on the following day. On the second day, the movie only managed to sell 159 tickets, a decrease of almost four times compared to the first day. The film’s total earnings on the second day amounted to USD 2.5k, equivalent to INR 2.08 lacs.

Early reports indicate that the UAE audiences have expressed their liking for Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan when watched on the big screen. This positive response has significantly contributed to the film’s success and may have influenced the decline in sales for BMCM on the second day. However, it is essential to note that the film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar has yet to be released in theaters, making it premature to make any judgments. Only after its release will we be able to determine which movie performed better in that region. Currently, advance bookings for both Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan are available in India. People are leaning towards the Akshay Kumar-starrer, as seats are nearly sold out in some theaters. Generally, there is more buzz surrounding BMCM than Maidaan. Nevertheless, it is too early to predict which movie will perform better on the first day. The fate of both films, especially Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, will be decided on April 10th.
