Sunrisers Hyderabad is gearing up for the upcoming season of the IPL with a significant change in leadership. Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins has been appointed as the new captain, taking over from Aiden Markram. This decision comes after SRH finished at the bottom of the table in the last season, prompting the franchise to seek a fresh direction.
Cummins, who was acquired for a substantial sum of INR 20.50 Cr in the auction, was widely tipped to lead the team. His impressive leadership skills, demonstrated during his tenure as captain of the Australian national team, played a pivotal role in securing the role.
