ETV Win is bringing as much good content to its library, and it is neatly picking up small-budget yet interesting films. Usually, many small films find it tough to find good deals with OTT platforms, and they have found a good place to sell their content in the form of ETV Win. Pailam Pilaga, a small film, is the latest one to arrive on this emerging Telugu digital platform.
Pailam Pilaga was released in theaters on September 20, 2024, and it failed to impress audiences and ended up as a failure at the box office. The latest news is that ETV Win has bagged the digital rights of the film, and Pailam Pilaga will be made available for online streaming from October 10, 2024. Reportedly, the producers of the film were put in a safe zone despite ETV Win buying the film’s digital rights for a small price. They are hopeful that the viewers will watch and give the response that the film missed during its theatrical release.
Pailam Pilaga was directed by Anand Gurram and produced by Ramakrishna Boddula and SK Srinivas under the Happy Horse Films banner. Sai Teja Kalvakota, Pavani Karanam, and Mirchi Kiran in crucial roles. Yashwanth Nag composed the film’s music. The film tells the story of Shiva, who lives in a village called Kothula Gutta, and he aspires to reach heights above his small town. What challenges does he face in his journey to achieve his goals is the main point of the film.
