Despite the backlash, she remained resolute in her decision, expressing that she has no regrets about taking on the role. “No actress would reject a role when it was offered in a Kamal Haasan and Shankar film,” she explained. Priya acknowledged that while the film did not meet expectations, the opportunity to work with such iconic figures in Indian cinema was not something she would ever pass up. She expressed her disappointment that the film could not satisfy audiences, but maintained pride in her work.
