Netflix South Film Bonanza

Netflix is fast becoming the ultimate haven for South Indian film enthusiasts, as the streaming giant secures post-theatrical release streaming rights for a slew of highly anticipated movies. The announcements have been nothing short of stylish, with dedicated hashtags like #NetflixPandaga for Telugu cinema and #NetflixPandagai for Tamil offerings.

Delving into the Telugu cinematic treasure trove, Netflix has bagged the rights to the much-anticipated sequel to the blockbuster “Pushpa 2,” featuring the charismatic Icon Star Allu Arjun. Additionally, it has acquired rights for Prabhas’s action-packed venture “Salaar” and the intriguingly titled “Tillu Square.” The excitement doesn’t end there, as Netflix has also secured rights for an untitled Vijay Deverakonda film under the skilled direction of Gautham Tinnanuri, as well as a Balakrishna film helmed by Bobby. Among other acquisitions, the platform will be showcasing Vishwak Sen’s upcoming film, “Gangs of Godavari,” promising a diverse array of Telugu cinematic experiences.

Turning our attention to the Tamil film spectrum, Netflix has strategically added two female-centric films to its repertoire – Keerthi Suresh’s “Kannivedi” and “Revolver Rani.” The excitement continues with the platform obtaining rights for Ajit Kumar’s thought-provoking “Vidaa Muyarchi,” Vikram’s much-anticipated “Thangalaan,” and the legendary Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus “Indian 2.” Vijay Sethupathi and Siva Karthikeyan fans are in for a treat as well, with Netflix securing rights for their upcoming projects. The streaming giant’s commitment to offering a diverse and rich collection of South Indian films is poised to make it the go-to platform for enthusiasts seeking a cinematic feast.
