Gopichand and Sreenu Vaitla’s film Viswam was released during the Dussehra festival. Noted as a commercial subject and a crucial moment for both the actor and director, the film opened with dull openings and received negative reviews. However, it managed to pick up some momentum over the weekend until Monday, but the graph declined again due to a lack of audience.
Despite this, the Viswam team held a success meet where some interesting remarks were made by actor Naresh, who played a role in the film. Naresh described Viswam as a “buffet of cinema: Fun, Emotions, and Action.” Additionally, he boldly declared it as the “Dussehra hit” and claimed it was “the one and only bigger hit of 2024.”
His statements took fans and moviegoers by surprise. While expressing love for their own film is understandable, such a bold claim triggered controversy, sparking debates on social media.
