Naidu still managing institutions, says Appi Reddy

YSR Congress senior leader and MLC Lella Appi Reddy alleged that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was still managing the institutions. He found fault with Chandrababu Naidu for stopping distribution of Jagananna Vidya Kanuka and input subsidy to the farmers.Appi Reddy said that the two schemes were part of continued programmes and they were not new ones. They were scheduled to be given in April, he said. However, Chandrababu Naidu wrote a letter to the election commission to stop distribution of input subsidy to the farmers and vidya kanuka to the students.

He wondered how the institutions like election commission were listening to Chandrababu Naidu. He said that the same election commission had given permission to the Telangana state government to give input subsidy, but stopped it in Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that the election commission was working biased. The election commission had transferred some officials based on a letter written by a party president. The same election commission had stopped the distribution of money under welfare schemes, he said.

He further said that the election commission had also stopped Cheyuta funds to be given to the women. They stopped the volunteers from distributing pensions and now stopped the schemes to be given to the people, Appi Reddy said.Referring to Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan’s criticism on the Land Titling Act, Appi Reddy wanted to know why they did not mention the same when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present at the election meeting in Rajamahendravaram and Anakapalli. He felt that they should have mentioned the same in the meeting in the presence of the Prime Minister.
The YSR Congress MLC said that Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan were speaking lies on the Land Titling Act and scaring the people. They were spreading all lies on the Act, he said.
