TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is having big trouble from his own party leaders across the state. Several leaders are raising a banner of revolt against Chandrababu Naidu either for denying tickets to them or giving tickets to their rivals.Paderu former MLA Giddi Eswari had raised a banner of revolt against Chandrababu Naidu for giving the seat to the BJP. She said that she would contest as independent candidate in the coming elections. She met the party senior leaders in the constituency and held a secret meeting where she took the decision to contest the elections.Rayachoti TDP incharge Ramesh Reddy had quit the post and had quit the party in protest against giving ticket to his rival. He joined the YSR Congress in the presence of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy along with his supporters.
Rajampet Parliament constituency incharge Ganta Narahari also quit the TDP and joined the YSR Congress. Rajampet Assembly constituency incharge and former MLC Bathyala Chengalrayudu is opposing the candidature of Sugavasi Balasubrahmanyam at Rayachoti.TDP senior leader Shankar Yadav from Tamballapalli is holding protest against party candidate Jayachandra Reddy. He is asking the party to change the candidate or else be ready for defeat. At Madanapalli, party senior leader Dommalapati Ramesh revolted against the party. He is planning to contest as independent and work against the TDP.
At Undi in West Godavari district, sitting MLA Rama Raju is upset with the party leadership for changing the candidature. The seat was now given to Narsapuram MP K Raghurama Krishnam Raju. Ramaraju is planning to contest as independent or work silently for the party’s defeat.There is revolt against the party candidate Nandamuri Balakrishna at Hindupur. People have started questioning Balakrishna for not doing anything for the constituency. They say that Balakrishna had become a visiting MLA for the constituency.Even Paripurnananda Swamy, who aspired for the BJP ticket, is now working against the candidature of Balakrishna. There is no coordination among the party leaders here. Several leaders are opposing the candidature of Balakrishna as he is not available for the people.
