Naidu has no candidates in AP, borrows from Telangana

TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu seems to have no candidates in Andhra Pradesh. He borrowed two candidates from the neighboring Telangana state and fielded them as MP candidates. A list was released on Friday with some MLA and MP candidates.

Naidu named former police officer, T Krishna Babu for Bapatla Parliament constituency and Byreddy Sabari from the neighboring Telangana state. The two candidates are from the BJP in Telangana. Naidu made them quit the BJP and come to Andhra Pradesh. They would join the TDP shortly and go to their respective places, where they were fielded.

Naidu is running out of ideas and is now running out of candidates. The TDP is finding it difficult to name candidates for the Assembly and parliament seats. Most of the TDP leaders have understood that the wind is not in its favour. They are not ready to contest elections as they know that the party will lose the battle.

The TDP has no stakes anywhere in the state as the wind is in favour of the ruling YSR Congress. People across the state are in favour of the YSR Congress and there is no one to attend even the TDP meetings in the village.

The election campaigns of the TDP candidates have no life in them as there are no people. Even of the party is ready to pay Rs 500 per person per day, not many are coming forward. The TDP leaders are breaking their heads to get some people to campaign for them in the villages.

Though there are some people for the party in the urban areas, there is none for them in the rural areas. The rural areas are saying a big no to the TDP for the election campaign. In this backdrop, the TDP chief had borrowed two candidates from the neighbouring Telangana state.
