TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu is known for betraying those who trusted him. He does this mostly at the time of elections. He uses people for his political advantage and throws them out once the purpose is served.
The latest in the series is the candidature of Mahasena Rajesh who was given the TDP ticket from P Gannavaram in the Godavari districts. His name was cleared in the first list of candidates which was released by the TDP with 94 names.
There was hue and cry in the constituency, particularly from the Jana Sena leaders who opposed his candidature. Jana Sena activists led by their leader Giddi Satyanarayana held protests across the constituency.
Some Brahmin organisations have also held protests in some parts of the state opposing Rajesh’s candidature. Rajesh was in two minds whether to contest the seat or pull out of the race. However, even before Rajesh could make his mind, Chandrababu Naidu gave the seat to the Jana Sena.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan had announced the candidature of Giddi Satyanarayana for the seat. Pawan Kalyan had asked Satyannarayana to campaign for him in the constituency. It was a big betrayal for Rajesh by Chandrababu Naidu.
Chandrababu Naidu did not even inform Rajesh that the seat was being given to the Jana Sena. Naidu did not even inform Rajesh that his candidature is being withdrawn. That is how Chandrababu Naidu betrays people who trust him and who believe in what he says.
Rajesh is not the last one to be cheated and betrayed by Chandrababu Naidu. There would be many more such Rajeshs to be cheated by Chandrababu Naidu for his own political gains.
