The veteran actor has found a new strategy. Presently, he is occupied with the filming of Kubera, where Dhanush plays the leading role and Sekhar Kammula directs. Furthermore, discussions are in progress for him to portray a significant role in Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Coolie, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Also, Nagarjuna has agreed to participate in another thrilling project, a multi-starrer film with Akshay Kumar. Directed by newcomer Naveen and backed by Studio Green, this big-budget spectacle is scheduled for a nationwide release next year. Although some fans may be disappointed by Nagarjuna’s shift towards ensemble casts or character roles, it is a strategic move to stay relevant in the constantly changing film industry. Nagarjuna still possesses the charisma and admiration of an actor. His presence in any movie can significantly impact its success. However, as a solo lead, he may not have the same market influence as before because of the changed dynamics in the market.
Nagarjuna may continue to star in solo hero films. Still, it is evident that he is gradually shifting towards prioritizing delivering an exceptional performance rather than being concerned about the film’s box office success.
