Murder Is Easy, a two-part series released by BBC, premiered in the West on December 27, 2023. The second part was released the following day. The cast features Penelope Wilton, known for her role in Downton Abbey, Douglas Henshall from Shetland, and David Jonsson from Industry. Jonsson takes on the lead role of Fitzwilliam, a man on a mission to apprehend a dangerous murderer before they can commit another crime. The story follows Nigerian attaché Luke Fitzwilliam as he travels to start a new job. Upon hearing about a quiet village plagued by a string of deaths labeled as accidents, he decides to investigate. Despite the villagers attributing the deaths to accidents, Miss Pinkerton believes there is a serial killer at large. After an attack on Pinkerton confirms her suspicions, Luke is tasked with uncovering the murderer’s identity. Murder Is Easy is set to be available for streaming on Sony LIV starting June 7, 2024.
