Munjya, the latest Horror Comedy from Bollywood, was a blockbuster at the box office. Maddock Films, which has lastly sawed a big blockbuster in the form of Stree 2, has backed Munjya as well. The film is a part of Maddock Universe. Munjya was released in theaters on June 7th and received favorable reviews from audiences and critics.
Munjya gathered a whopping 100 crores net at the domestic box office. So there was a good buzz around its OTT release, and it was also revealed that one of the OTT giant Disney Plus Hot Star has gained the film’s digital rights. However, in a surprising move, Munjya is making its Television Debut before its theatrical release. The film will be telecasted on Star Gold Channel on August 24, 2024 8 PM.
It will be interesting to see how Munjya will be received on OTT after being telecasted on Television. Munjya stars Sharvari and Abhay Verma, and Aditya Sarpotdar directed it. The film tells the story of a demon named Munjya, who is on a violent mission and is obsessed to get his childhood Love, Munni.
