The movie Munjya has been met with great enthusiasm from the audience, who thoroughly enjoy its suspense and excitement. This has translated into a remarkable achievement at the box office, with the film earning impressive numbers even in its third week. The film has already crossed 90 Crores Net in India and is marching towards the magical figure of 100 Crores.
Munjya collected over 2 Crores net on Monday, taking the total collections to more than 92 Crores at the domestic market. The film has been made with a simple story, but the well-inclined fun with horror and excellent music made it an engaging watch. Aditya Sarpotdar directed Munjya, Which features Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, and Sathyaraj. The film is set in the Konkan region of Maharashtra and is deeply intertwined with Marathi folklore. It narrates the story of the legendary creature Munjya and its disruptive influence on Bittu’s life, played by Abhay Verma, renowned for his role in The Family Man.
Munjya marks Maddock’s fourth venture into horror-comedy, following the success of Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. The production house is gearing up for the release of Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao, in the upcoming weeks. Sharvari expressed her excitement over Munjya’s box office triumph, stating, “Munjya has had a fantastic start at the box office, and I must say that I am absolutely thrilled.
