Based on Disney’s The Lion King, Mufasa: The Lion King, directed by Barry Jenkins, is hitting the screens this December 20th. The already revealed trailer has garnered attention for its visual effects, and fans of The Lion King can expect something big coming their way from the King of the Jungle, who takes care of his family as well.
In addition to this, the dubbed versions of Mufasa have gained new spotlight with top actors joining the project. Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Bollywood himself, is lending his voice to the character of Mufasa in Hindi. The latest addition of another actor has stirred up excitement.
Superstar of Tollywood, Mahesh Babu, is stepping forward to lend his voice for Mufasa in Telugu. He stated, “I have always admired Disney’s blockbuster legacy of entertainment, and Mufasa is one such character where he is not only a loving father guiding his son but also the king of the jungle taking care of his clan.”
The news of Mahesh Babu voicing Mufasa has excited his fans, especially since they will not see him on screen again for at least two years. They will get to cherish his presence through his voice this December 20th in Mufasa: The Lion King.
