Every movie, regardless of its ratings and reviews, will attract its own audience. When movies that underperformed in theaters are later available on OTT platforms for streaming, there will always be viewers who regret not watching them earlier. This is currently the case with Vijay Devarakonda’s “Family Star.” Though a few dialogues from the film got a mixed response, a more significant section of the audience liked the movie.
The film recently premiered on Amazon Prime Video and has received tremendous attention, particularly from fans of Vijay Deverakonda and actress Mrunal Thakur. One fan even regretted not watching the film in theaters, claiming that it contained elements best experienced on the big screen. The social media user mentioned feeling remorseful for missing out on the opportunity to immerse themselves in the family emotions that the film evoked in theaters. Sharing that screenshot, Mrunal asked the fan not to feel sorry. “Don’t say sorry, my dear; I’m glad that you can still watch it on Amazon Prime,” the heroine wrote. Seeing this heartfelt response from Mrunal, the fans were so happy.
After achieving success with two consecutive blockbusters in Tollywood through Sitaramam and Hi Nanna, Mrunal Thakur aimed for a hat-trick with “Family Star.” However, the film did not meet the anticipated expectations. The best thing is that the film is getting a good response upon its OTT arrival.
